Platform at a glance

Octos Cloud is a cloud management portal that lets you provision and manage infrastructure through a unified interface. Behind the portal, your workloads run on 4th-Gen AMD EPYC™ Genoa processors with DDR5 memory — fully dedicated, never shared.

What makes Octos different:

  • No CPU credit throttling — sustained clock speeds on every instance
  • No artificial IOPS caps — NVMe SSDs perform at hardware limits
  • No egress fees — zero charges for outbound data transfer
  • No bandwidth caps — your network link runs at full speed
  • Better Cost-Efficiency than traditional hyperscalers

Step 1: Create your account

  1. Navigate to cloud.octosinfra.com/register
  2. Enter your full name, email address, and a strong password
  3. Verify your email via the confirmation link sent to your inbox
  4. Complete phone number verification with the OTP code
tip

You can also sign up with Google or GitHub for faster onboarding.

Step 2: Complete KYC verification

Octos Cloud requires identity verification before you can provision resources. This is a one-time process.

  1. Navigate to Profile → KYC in the portal
  2. Select your account type: Individual or Company
  3. Upload the required documents:
    • Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport)
    • Address proof (Utility bill, bank statement)
  4. Submit for review — approval typically takes 24–48 hours

Step 3: Add a payment method

  1. Go to Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Add a credit card, debit card, or configure UPI
  3. Optionally, purchase Infra Credits to prepay for usage

Step 4: Create your first project

Projects are the primary organizational unit in Octos Cloud. All resources — Instances, networks, storage — belong to a project.

  1. From the Dashboard, click the + Create New Project card
  2. Enter a Project Name and Project Description
  3. Select a Project Purpose from the dropdown (e.g., Development and Testing)
  4. Click Create Project
